gears and lockers?!?!?!?
hey so i have a buddie from cc4x4 who has a set of 4.88 with a detroit in the rear and i forgot which up fornt but a locker as well i want the 4.88's but how will the lockers do with my axels?? stock 30/35 not i heard that the axels are as strong as the 44's just weaker outters???!! any input plz

A quick check through one of jeep parts mailers shows lots of options for the Dana 30 & 35 wrangler axles. Looks like all brand name lockers are avaiable as well as gears up to 4.88 If you need /want a free parts book go online and ask (4wd.com, quadrateck.com, google....) or I can bring some to a club event. Anyway you slice it, the options your after exist for the axle housing you have. The catalog also has axle truss or you can always have someone weld on metal braces.

well im getting 4.88's and a locker in the rear and lockrit up front

so i went and picked up the gears and lockers today 4.88's with a trac-lok in the rear and limited slip in the front!!! so i think im going to get wilsons 4x4 to do it unless you guys have any other places to do it!!
