Jeeper Charged
This shows we really have to be careful when trailriding. Saw the news report this morning and they showed the guy on TV. Didn't recognize him. Here's the only story I could find. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -- Firefighters spent the morning battling a 2 acre brush fire in Daytona Beach. It happened off Williamson Blvd by LPGA Blvd. Smoke could cause a problem for some drivers this morning. It started at around 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. Dispatchers got a call regarding a drunken person passed out on the road. But when patrols arrived they discovered the brush fire, as well as two people in a jeep. The two men were arrested for trespassing on private property. The jeep is still in the woods it's totally charred. Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the fire. Patrols are monitoring the smoke. If it gets too heavy they will close the road. Use Clyde Morris Blvd as an alternate route if needed.
