Jeeptoberfest 2007
Info so far is that it is October 27th at the Ocala Raceway. When the flyer is available, I will post it. This is always a large event and we always have a good turnout of Mid Florida Jeep club members. Let's plan ahead :D Show and all activities will be in the very back part of the property. It use to be full of trees..but they had it all cleared. We have out grown Walt's=the location for the past several years. The vendors were quite cramped last year. The Speedway property is huge. They also have a natural ditch which is going to be the grounds for the off-road course build. They have given us the OK to build any course we want! This being the 10th Anniversary of the Show..I'm hoping to make it an awesome one! Hope everyone can come out and play. And for anyone coming up the night before...the Speedway will be having their Friday night racing going on with special Halloween activities for the kids. Working on getting special prices for Jeepers!

Oh yea, have to go again this year. Got stuck on the mild course last year so have to do better this time and if I get stuck again it gives the Hecklers something to do.

Hard Rock www.hardrockmx.com has offered their campground for the weekend of Jeeptoberfest! RV hookups=$ 15.00 (Normally $20.00); Tenters can camp for FREEEEE!! (Normally $10.00) & If you want to Ride Hard Rock on Sunday, he will only charge you $ 20.00 to Ride that day. YOU must say you are in town for Ocala's Jeeptoberfest to get the special pricing.

Thought I am not ready yet to beat up "Endeavour" (Been stuck by foam, long story) I was wondering if I could at least bring the ATV, might prove handy to for pull outs and general fun? ____________ Thanks, Lee JeepCowboy Deltona

That is a good question, in previous years the walts brakes lot was small enough to walk across in about 2 min. ATV's were few in number because of all the people, other jeeps on the course played the recovery role. .... perhaps the Jeeptoberfest flyer will have a phone number to find out for sure.... or just bring it, if you dont use it, you dont use it, but if the place turns out to be as big as wallyworld you'll be glad you had it!
