swap dana for dana44
i haved wrangler 93 4.0L ax15 ,231 that any one haved dont a swap from dana 35 to dana44 and how is done pleace help :x :x :x :x :x

What did you get the axle out of? 93 should be leaf springs, so if you found one under a similar year Cherokee it may have the same spring mount as your YJ. More likely the old mounts will need to be cut off and new spring mounts and track bar bracket welded in place. Next on the list is the drive shaft and T-case. The 44 is larger than the 35, so a slip yoke eliminator and new driveshaft will likely be required. Especially if you plan to install a lift while everything is apart.
