Here are some more details: The Orlando Jeep Club Show-N-Shine is just around the corner (Saturday March 15th). In case you have never been to one of their Show-N-Shines, here is some information you may find useful. First of all, the event is open to all Jeep vehicles. There is no entry or registration fee, and every Jeep that registers receives one general raffle ticket and one participant’s choice ballet. The first 50 that show up and register will receive a free participation t-shirt as well. Since they do not charge admission, they sell food and raffle tickets to try and offset the costs of the event. The only raffle tickets that can be purchased are the ones for the Power Tank, the Warn Compressor, and the 50/50. The general raffle is free and no additional tickets can be purchased. There are many items in the general raffle and a person can only win once, so this gives everyone a good chance to leave with something. The 50/50 raffle we will be doing a little different this year. You can either buy individual tickets at a price of $1 each or 6 for $5, or you can opt to pay $20 and get your Jeeps length of tickets. The Compressor and Power tank are two separate raffles with the tickets selling for $3 each or 4 for $10. This year we will be having six trophies. Sponsor’s choice awards, which members of the Veteran’s Museum will decide. There will be four categories for sponsor’s choice: Antique (1986 and older), YJ, TJ and SUV/Truck. Participant’s choice, which each registered Jeep votes on. Club participation, which is awarded to the club with the most Jeeps registered. There is also a kids raffle which is free for all kids and each kid is a winner. Activities include: RTI ramp, balance beam, karaoke and a fun house for the kids. There will also be vendors on site.
