Trail Ride and Beach Day announcement for Saturday September
Please join us Saturday the 29th for a member’s only day at the beach. The party will be on the pool deck of the Surfside Hotel in Daytona Beach Shores (Same hotel as Jeep Beach). A BBQ lunch and drinks will be provided by the hotel complements of the club. So we can include as many people as possible we are asking for $10 per member to help offset some of the cost. For those who would like to go on a short trail ride and travel over in a Jeep convoy. The plan is to meet at the corner of Doyle Rd & State Route 415 in the Skipps’s Boots parking lot. I will be there at 8:00 am and will head out to the Surfside Hotel at 8:30 am. We are meeting in Osteen so we can take an interesting “end county maintenance” dirt road for the trail ride portion. Then some cool back roads through Samsula, over to US1, across the intercostal and out to the hotel to make the drive as enjoyable as possible. Anyone who wants to head straight to the beach is welcome to. Feel free to park on the beach in front of the hotel (tides permitting). The club has secured use of pool deck and hotel facilities for all club members. So bring the family and have some fun on the beach with us.
