Trail Ride Announcement for Saturday March 15th. Since every weekend this month has something going on, this Trail Ride will be from Osteen to the Orlando Show n Shine. I picked an interesting route down a few tree covered side roads, through downtown Geneva and on to the Orlando Snow n Shine. I’m thinking about leaving the GPS at home so it should be a fun drive. Bring your good luck charms and hope we get a little lost along the way ;-) The plan: Meet in Osteen at the Skips Boots parking lot around 9:00 am and start the drive to the Orlando Show n Shine at 9:30 am. Anyone that needs fuel or morning coffee can grab some at the Citgo gas station right next to Skip’s. Since we packed out the gas station parking lot on previous trail rides I figured we would try the empty one across the street. When the Snow n Shine is over (and we have our second “Club Participation” trophy) we can convoy back to Osteen and parts beyond through a similar but more direct return route. The CB channel for this ride will be # 4. As you get close start transmitting to get a feel for how far your radio and antenna will transmit. Don’t forget the Sham Rock & Roll is Monday March 17th on Beach Street in Daytona! (Arrive early for “preferred” parking.)and for the April trail ride, camping in the ONF and/or Hard Rock are at the top of the list.
