Had a good time with Max, Sandy and Ashley. Rode some trails and visited an old pit on foot (because it's closed to vehicles) The pit has a mini grand canyon and some cool clay formations. Learned that any forest road not marked as open is technically closed from the ranger station. Didn't get in trouble but explains a lot. I don't know how much that will effect riding in Ocala. Had a mini adventure on the way home. Arty and I we're riding down 42 and were flagged down by three young kids. We pulled over and they asked if we would help pull their car out of some sand. They looked like rainbow people so we were a little hesitant but decided to help. We drove down a sandy numbered forest road about a mile thinking we were going to be ambushed any second but sure enough there was a stuck crown vick. More hippies piled out and thanked us so much for coming. We ended up getting them unstuck about three times and got them out to 42. They thanked us many times and gave me a handmade bracelet. They ended up being really cool. They were traveling the country in the vick going to random hippie events.
