Trail Ride Announcement for Sunday September 2nd
Were going to the HARDROCK ORV park in Ocala. The plan is to meet in the parking lot of the Hamptons Drive-In (250 International Speedway Blvd, Deland) at 8:30 am Sunday morning. Then start a Jeep convoy over to the Hardrock ORV park at 9:00 am. It will take at least an hour to drive the 60 miles from Deland to Ocala so we should arrive shortly after the park opens. The entrance fee for this privately owned park is $25 per vehicle. Stock vehicles are welcome and encouraged to attend. The MFJC members that have already been to this ORV park confirmed that unmodified vehicles will have not problem with the majority of trail obstacles and hill climbs. Additional information: HARDROCK NOW OPEN TO 4-WHEEL DRIVE OFF-ROAD VEHICLES. Jeeps and off road vehicles, now have a section of Hardrock to call there very own. It contains big climbs, a rock garden and trails. Open for use when ever the park is open, (7 days a week 10am to 5pm). So please take advantage of this unique terrain and come and join us for some fun. Sunday would be better, but i still might only be able to meet ya'll up there in the afternoon, the next weekend would be best if that was possible, but i understand if it cant be changed

I'm only available on Saturdays, but I understand others would prefer Sundays. Just hope a decision is made soon so I know how to plan the next couple of weekends. :?

Several people have indicated that Sunday is better, so I have changed the this ride to Sunday the 2nd. (sorry Keith, well have another Saturday ride in the near future) Thanks to everyone that participates in the forum, and since Hard Rock is just around a few miles from our home base I'm sure well be going again.

seems like the weekend of the 1st or 2nd is not good to alot of people.Why not the following sunday after the sat.meeting?You are changing for those for sat or sun,but dont forget the ones out of town.Take a vote and see what is good for everyone for a larger turn out.Well thats just my opinion and what does that matter.

Well, this was suppose to be the August trail ride, but I ran out of weekends and this one spilled over into September. I will post the September trail ride date soon.
