Where will the January Trail Ride be?
We will have the next trail ride on Sunday Jan 27th and I'm looking for location ideas. Anyone have a place in mind that you liked before or want to go back and try again? If you have a new place we can scout out let me know. I'm always open to new places we can take the club.

Well Sorry to sound like a thorn in the bush here but I've been asking about a campout for like over a year now and nothing yet. I know theres campouts on events but not local as a club! Not all can have the change to go outta town... So thats my 2 cents........

yeah, I think a campout would be cool. If there was somewhere that could have camping and some areas nearby for some off-roading where people could just mess around, that would be cool. I think you mentioned somewhere like that at the parade Arty, but i can't remember where, but I think camping would be a cool idea, especially while its still cool enough outside to camp without dying of heat at night.

Camping
Laura and I like to camp at Alexander Springs. Its close to home(if need be) and close to trails in ocala forest. The camping is cheap, about $17.00 per night, there are real RV hookups, with power. They will let 2 tents and 2 cars per site, or 1 RV and 1 tent and 2 cars. There are alot of sites to choose from, depending on first come first serve, or some sites can be reserved on line. Just a thought!! Kevin.

Holder mine in Citrus County is a pretty cool place to camp.... nice grounds and some halfway decent wheelin ( several washouts, etc) Its about 1.5 hour drive

A camp-out/trail ride sounds like a great idea! Keep the ideas coming on different places we can go. :D

Why don't we go to HARD ROCK while it's cool. Just an idea for Jan 27.

Some of us are going camping in Citrus County 12-29 and 30th (Fri. And Sat night) Anyone that wants are more than welcome to join us!

Camping

We talked about camping and other special events during the January board meeting. The details on our club camping adventure will be posted and sent out on the next "Jeep Tracks" news letters as soon as they are finalized. Bowling, Go-carts, and Mini Golf were also discussed. If you know a good location to hold one of these events let us know.
